Win a visit to your school by Libby Clegg
In partnership with ESPC, Libby Clegg (paralympian and world T12 100m champion) will be visiting schools across Edinburgh, Lothians and Fife in October. Enter our competition to win a visit to your school.
Libby is very
passionate about her sport and encouraging everyone to adopt a
healthy lifestyle. A lot of the free time she has away from
training is spent on organised school visits, talking about the
challenges she face as an athlete, how she lives her life despite
being registered blind and answering any questions pupils ask her.
She usually brings along some of her athletic bling which includes
her silver medal from the Beijing Paralympics.
ESPC is running a competition where one school in each of the following council areas can win a visit from Libby in October 2012: Edinburgh; East Lothian; Midlothian; West Lothian; Fife. Plus one lucky school will win £500 towards sports equipment.
How to enter
Simply write at least 200 words to tell us what you like about the area you live in.No great research needed, just tell us what you like about your neighbourhood. A panel of judges will review all entries and the best submission from each council area will win a visit from Libby. The best overall entry wins £500 for sports equipment and Libby will hand over the cheque during her visit.
Closing date
Entries must be received by 27th April 2012. Entries should be sent along with an official entry form to: Please Come to my School Libby, ESPC, 90a George Street, Edinburgh EH2 3DF.
